Mesghal is a market information service that shows live free-market prices for gold, coins, foreign exchange, and related markets in Iran. The Service includes the website mesghal.site and the Mesghal app.

Account information. If you create or use an account, we may collect your mobile phone number, one-time verification codes, email address, display name, and password. Passwords are stored in hashed form, not as plain text.

Contact messages. If you write to us through the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message content so we can reply.

Session and technical data. When you sign in on the website, we set an httpOnly session cookie (mesghal_session) to keep you logged in, plus a non-sensitive client flag cookie (mesghal_authed) so the site can avoid account API calls for guests. The app may send an authorization token for the same purpose. We also receive standard server logs such as IP address, device or browser type, and request timestamps needed to operate and secure the Service.

On-device preferences. Some features store preferences only on your device (for example, converter pairs or board layout) using local storage. That data stays on your device unless you clear it.

We do not require an account to view public price information.

We use the information above to provide and improve the Service, authenticate users, send one-time codes and account-related messages, respond to contact requests, prevent abuse and fraud, and meet legal obligations.

Price data shown in the Service is market information for reference. It is not personalized advertising based on your private account data.

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with service providers who process it on our behalf (for example, SMS delivery for one-time codes, email delivery, hosting, and infrastructure). They may use the data only to perform services for us.

We keep account and contact information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, respond to you, and comply with legal requirements. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and operations.

You may request deletion of your account information by contacting us through the contact page. We will respond within a reasonable time, subject to legal retention needs.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You may update your name, email, or password in your account settings when signed in. You may stop using the Service at any time. You may clear local preferences in your browser or by uninstalling the app.
